Fluid-applied, self-adhered, and mechanically fastened air barriers, tied through at the slab edge, the wall-to-deck junction, the window and door openings, and every penetration in between. A wall that tests well in the field and fails at the shelf angle is a wall that failed.
Sequenced with the trades that come after us
Air barrier work is almost never a single mobilization. We plan the rough-opening sequence with the glazing, masonry, and membrane trades up front so the laps run the right direction the first time.
Testing
We install to pass. Where the specification calls for whole-building or assembly air leakage testing, we coordinate the testing agency's access and remediate what the test finds.
